Geta, 209-211. Sestertius (Orichalcum, 32 mm, 28.91 g, 12 h), Rome, 211. P SEPTIMIVS GETA PIVS AVG BRIT Laureate head of Geta to right. Rev. FORT RED TR P III COS II P P / S C Fortuna seated left on throne, holding rudder set on globe in her right hand and cornucopiae in her left; under seat, wheel. BMC 40. Cohen 52 var. (reverse legend). RIC 168a. A very attractive example with an excellent portrait and lovely orichalcum surfaces. Flan crack and with very light doubling on the reverse, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.
